It follows LOGICALLY, that the judge would not be asking each party for its own calculation if the issue was moot, or if it was an entirely settled point and the judge was guaranteed to calculate the supplemental damages using only the variables suggested by VRNG.
He would not have asked both parties to submit calculations if he was not still taking the matter under consideration. Sure, he may strongly be leaning one way. But it's not guaranteed.
