k gotcha Cmward223 exactly, and you were asking about from the things you've read how ppl loose so much money if the value would be the same, it's because if the new name is not supported with news releases or some kind of promotion for awareness (opportune time for them to do leading up into and during the change process imo), then will the market support it? ..if not, probably somewhere between break-even and the same situation we're in now - no bid for miles to sell into (really ugly spread).

for example: SMMR - L2 yesterday, the ask was .14 and top bid was .05

if this happened to be a RS scenario, could be quite a painful exit..
