Is any of this still happening? I do not think so. Why did the management put out information which wasn't true or was not verified?
With this company you never know what to believe, and the best bet it so believe nothing.

Just because you don't think any of it is happening, doesn't mean the information isn't true or was not verified. Where is your evidence to support your assumption? You seem focused only on rumors and speculation.
