This just about says it all. THIS is THE
reason Patriot filed bankruptcy.
The court must order Peabody to be responsible
for these huge numbers of retirees who worked
for Peabody.
They never worked for Patriot.
And the court must demand that Patriot not
be allowed to shirk its guaranteed obligation
to "protect shareholder value". Patriot Coal
stock must NOT be canceled.
