Mayo’s almost 30-year career in the theater and film industry has resulted in several companies that have profitably pioneered new technologies and business models. His Clearview Cinema Group became the largest independent theater group in Metropolitan New York, and went on to be sold to Cablevision. And Mayo’s Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. (NASDAQ: CIDM) became a leader in digital programming, bringing digital formatting to over 12,000 screens in 1,000 U.S. and Canadian sites.
