MJNA originally bought the rights to Converted Organic's Pharmasphere tech, which was all indoor vertical farming.
I don't believe the deal was completed, but MJNA probably learned enough about vertical farming in general, that when they started Phytosphere, which right now is just growing hemp in fields in Northern Europe, they also planned for indoor growing at some time.
MJNA alternately talks about Phytosphere in indoor and outdoor farming contexts, so it's probably both, under one name.
I would imagine that you would grow hemp for food-grade CBD outdoors, but medical-grade (meeting the purity requirements of the FDA) would likely be grown indoors.
I think that Cannavest is just doing outdoor farming right now. Not sure if they, or MJNA will handle any future indoor growing.
