Would you pay $2 for a 12 oz can of grape soda pop that you've never heard of?
Very few people would, even after getting to sip it in a tiny cup. Most people aren't dumb enough to spend $2 a can for grape pop just because someone standing behind a card table in front of Walmart claims it will 'chillax' them.
But that's not going to stop the company from selling millions more shares to pay itself (in the form of the in-house marketing company they partially own) for hundreds of thousands more hours of 'sampling.'
