What’s the Deal and how does the deal work?

Let’s just say that they had a red qdot deal for lighting, samples were approved, and mass production of the custom red qdot was verified. What are the steps that need to be taken and how long does it take to get a signature? Anyone, Crunch, DDHawk, BigE, PV ;O) ???, ih8?
