Hi all, I'm new to this board:
I've been reading this board for a while, and finally decided to register so I could also post. Some here already know me as _nilrem on the RB board. I have studied some TA, am open to learning more TA, and I experiment with a system I constructed/invented, which I call Astro-Numerological Analysis (ANA), which I consider to be a part of my overall TA (it can be surprisingly accurate, and there's no time limit to its forecasting ability (it's also very easy to understand).
I would like to post my ANA here, but I'm not sure it would be acceptable to the other members of this board, so I'll hold off for now, and perhaps mide will say it's OK to post, or we can put it to a vote, or whatever.
For now, I have a question about the TA term "Golden Cross".
When I first learned it years ago, I understood it to mean a cross of the rising 50 DMA above a rising 200 DMA.
Certainly with GTE a 50/200 DMA cross is within 2 days of happening, but, by the above definition, it won't be a Golden Cross, since the 200 DMA is not rising.
Is such a definition of a Golden Cross too strict? Comments appreciated, TIA.
