You can't be serious, how many big brokers were touting WCOM, ENRON, NFLX, to name a few. In fact nearly 90% of them were saying NAS 5000 back in 99/2000. Abey Joseph Cohen was always pumping some name, she spoke and people listened!

The bottom line is that anyone outside of the company can pretty much say what they want. You don't hear anyone bashing the short analysts when they get crushed, "that was a scam, that fool new the stock would go up"!

Everyone is responsible for what they do with their money regardless what others say. Nobody is holding a gun on people making them press buy the buy/short button!
