As you pointed out, shareholders have not seen the financial benefit of Fannie Mae's recovery, especially since the firm's stock was de-listed from the New York Stock Exchange. As Congress considers how to address the structure of Fannie Mae, I agree the impact on shareholders must be considered and shareholders should benefit from the recovery. Thank you for sharing your personal experience regarding Fannie Mae with me. I am not a member of the Senate Banking committee, which has jurisdiction to oversee Fannie Mae, but I will certainly keep your comments in mind when this issue comes before the full Senate.
