After bypassing all of capnmike's fluff, it boils down to nothing more than a guess as to the mysterious workings of the black box.
I always thought that a patent is suppose to allow "someone knowledgeable in the field" to be capable of reducing the invention to practice.
Seems like Wade is keeping that aspect of the invention secret until he figures it out himself.
