Let me give you a little tip buddy.... For one thing, I was doing alot of thinking while on vacation. Im always thinking thinking and thinking some more, Im one of those guys who sometimes lays down to go to sleep at night and It will take me 2 hours to fall asleep because my mind is rolling. Anyways, think market context, did you ever notice when you have a good system going for you that works and you go on win streaks and all of a sudden that same system starts failing you??? The same patterns are forming but you arent getting the same pop, orrrrrr its not even moving in your favor anymore with the same exact patterns that were making you money before?? Good news is... its not your system thats failing you. Its market context, its the market environment thats failing your system. There are 2 different kinds of markets, and ONLY 2 kinds of markets. Fertile market environments and infertile environments. There are even certain times of the market day that are ALWAYS infertile, like between the 10AM to 12:30PM Central time span!!! Trading an infertile market environment is like a guy trying to get a girl pregnant while shes taking birth control LMAO!!! See what im saying here. They say an average trader will always out perform the best trader in the world when the average trader is trading the fertile market and the best trader in the world is trading the infertile market. So like I said, from now on, think MARKET CONTEXT!!! How do you tell when a market is good or bad on the fly, use moving averages on ETFs like $SPY. Or even just bring up a intraday chart of the Dow Jones or $SPX and check the moving averages, if the moving averages are flat or even coiled then you know its a very choppy, dead, flat ass market. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ENVIRONMENT!!!
