Local Hero is about some Houston oil executive yuppy (made during oil boom's final days in the early 80's) who gets sent to Scotish Coast to secure drilling rights for off shore oil exploration. The scenery is just gorgeous. The little plot blurb is not really what the movie is about, just a surface thing to help you know if you have seen it.
