Personally, I now understand that I misread the XIDE situation potential from the git-go.

I assumed XIDE would tighten up their belt and get with it . . . afterall they have a big public recognition factor (over 120 years of USA and world business record). And, naturally, like everyone else I also figured a big corporation has decent management and can be a turn-around. However; now I see XIDE is just manuvering to avoid fines, etc.? The court system will create the battery business model. I guess if one can lay enough paper down . . . you can wall on water.

They (XIDE) are playing the card game in the dark and us investors can only listen for strange sounds. Its looking more and more like the outcome depends on when (not whether) government can accomodate the company apparent desire to drop all its bad operational sites on anyone willing to take them.

I think most of us look at a stock, and virtually all the info we see is out-dated or very suspect. We are caught up in a tech-focused casino game.

Its true that probability is a 50-50 coin flip (any number of reasons will intervene to smooth the distribution curve into a graph sine wave). What the textbooks do not emphasis is the noise fluctuates the graph when you zoom in to a particular spot in time period on that graph. The best bet is either sell everything and take the tax-loss, or go sit on the curb . . . drink your choice . . . and await the possibility part of USA XIDE will survive (as Yank tells us the Gel battery tech is the better bet to survive intact). The big unknown is whether anyone will buy what part of XIDE and will they keep the XIDE trademark? Doubtful the USA military will want to accept Chinese owned XIDE battery tech in their systems.
Thus, my feeling is O-Bomb will cellphone up with Calif. and his Right Wing Buds and plan some face savings rescue.

This creates a better than 25% prob that XIDE USA survives in some form.
And it may well be that that survival is the bet to take? Time awaits.
