Don't you think its a good idea to learn the limits of your product? Yes, we all think that this group, using this protocol, should see no benefit. But, what if they did? What is there were a subtle improvement that most people wouldn't notice? Note, for example, that speed was slightly improved.

Knowing what your product won't do may be just as important as what it can do. As to wasting Star's money, this looks like a pretty cheap test to me.
