If DSNY really wants to snuff out the shorts?

...declare a "stock dividend" of .25 shares for every 1 share and the shorts will have to cover the dividend by buying more shares, plus the share price will accelerate with what would be effectively short covering...

Perhaps company could wait and do same in conjunction with up-listing and even symbol change for a triple whammy.
