Yes this was my first patent play. At first I was thinking the same. This process has taught me a lot. Had a lot of time to research the whole process throughout. There is big money made at times but the risk is also great! Trying to time these plays is a crap shoot.
Since there are so many uneducated investors in these plays one wrong word from a SA article ( most of which are written by uneducated authors) can drop the stock like a rock.
Anyways, VRNG stock price has leveled off to a reasonable risk/reward price. Now has support of around 10 million shares being taken off the market (Russell). It's boring right now yes. Most get rich quick traders are out IMO. Seems like when the pps drops below $3 there is a buyer scooping up shares (I refer to an earlier post of mine about both sides being played to accumulate shares).
Seems everyone focuses on just Google. With the google comes revenue from Microsoft then there is ZTE. Not a one trick pony here IMO.
But I digress as it is all speculation here.
I do have one question for everyone!
Do you think the 5% the Microsoft agreed to pay means:
1) 5% of total amount of googles RR
2) 5% of base % (given in the google RR) of Microsoft profit from patents.
Talk amongst yourselves this will be interesting to hear.
Everything is IN MY OPINION!!!
