The biggest task before Apple with intel is to create an x86 system that is significantly better than the Commodity PC. In the recent past Firewire 400,800 and 802.11g was the extra added something that made the Apple systems unique. I'm betting that 802.11n will be the cutting edge advantage in the Macintel systems but that may not be enough. Apple will introduce something evolutionary this year but damn if I know what or when it will be introduced. With iPod sales on a tear this gives Apple enough breathing room to come up with away of evolving the personal computer. Fast, Light and mobile seems to be what people want ... time will tell.
