So you've never seen a stock with a large B/A spread and little/no volume? There are tons of them! Most likely that 100 share purchase was someone either:

a) Trying to make their portfolio look good for their own piece of mind
b) Hoping that it would somehow trick people into buying shares because it was up 900%

So to use any price from back then is like comparing oranges to apples. If you want to look at the 100 day average, that's a fair number. Showing the 200 day moving average is simply inaccurate for the purposes being used here.
