Cedric Kushner Promotions Changes Name To ''Ckrush, Inc.,'' Will Begin Trading under Stock Symbol ''CKRH''

NEW YORK, Dec 23, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Cedric Kushner Promotions, Inc. ("CKP" or the "Company") (PK: CKPI) announced today that it has changed its name to Ckrush, Inc. ("Ckrush"), and will begin trading under the stock symbol "CKRH.PK" on December 27, 2005. The name change to Ckrush reflects the Company's expansion into the entertainment business and its strategic initiatives in digital content production and distribution. Ckrush, through its subsidiaries Ckrush Entertainment ("Entertainment"), Ckrush Direct ("Direct") and Ckrush Sports ("Sports"), will focus on creating compelling sports and entertainment content for distribution across all media platforms.
Ckrush Entertainment, Inc., formed in 2004, produces feature films and television programming. In the year 2005, Entertainment produced "Beer League" starring Artie Lange and "TV the Movie" starring Steve O, Wee Man and Preston Lacy of "Jackass" fame. Additionally, the Company co-produced National Lampoons "Pledge This" starring Paris Hilton. Entertainment is developing a number of feature film and television projects. In June of 2005, Entertainment entered into a joint venture with Identity Films, LLC ("Identity"). Pursuant to the joint venture, the Company and Identity formed "Identity Films & Company" for the purpose of, among other things, developing, financing, and producing feature films.
Ckrush Sports, Inc. will focus on professional sports, specifically the promotion of professional boxers and televised boxing events and potentially other sports ventures. Cedric Kushner Promotions, Inc. will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ckrush Sports, Inc. Recently, Sports entered into consulting agreements with legendary boxing trainer Lou Duva as well as highly regarded promoter Dino Duva.
Ckrush Direct will produce and distribute programs and products, including DVD's, videos and various consumer goods, for pay-per-view, video-on-demand, direct response and retail distribution.
