wbmw, I agree that 333 Mhz A64 must have the same IPC as 400 Mhz XP. Plus one more speed grade if the code will use extra registers (I hope Doom III will do that even on 32-bit windows). If they manage to do 400 mhz fsb, that's one more speed grade.

So there is a chance that 2 Ghz A64 will play Doom with 3200 rating, but most of other programs with 3000 rating. They just have to fix this stupid AGP.

Plus, we will see, it may happen that "64-bit sells".
