AVT's Marley Coffee Automated Stores Taking Asia by Storm

"Expansion into Korea could provide significant new revenues"
CORONA, Calif., July 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- AVT, Inc. (OTC Markets: AVTC) (www.autoretail.com), a leader in automated retailing systems, customized kiosks and self service stores, announced that they have expanded in the Asian markets, and that their breakthrough Marley Coffee Automated Stores have been featured in the popular Koreatown Daily News.

"Premium, organic coffee is now available in an automated setting," the article stated. "From music legend Bob Marley's son, this famous brand is expected to sell well in Korea, Japan, and throughout Asia."

The article also quoted a review of the brand in the New York Times, which stated that the coffee features "a variety of flavors and deep roasted beans, which make this coffee smooth to drink."

The Korean coffee market is growing rapidly and changing with the times, according to the article. "This is the new way to purchase coffee," they reported. "With reduced labor costs, Marley Coffee Automated Stores can deliver a gourmet cup of coffee at an affordable price."

According to research developed by analysts at T.Rowe Price, the coffee market is red hot. "Coffee is a particularly dynamic segment at the moment," the report stated. "It's really been driven by innovation, and the key driver of that is what's gone on in the out-of-home market."

The analyst report also stated that coffee is generating lots of consumer interest and therefore growth in emerging markets, especially in Asia. "While tea will remain an important beverage, we expect coffee to continue to gain share. The U.K. was traditionally a tea-drinking nation, but people now drink more coffee than tea even there." And although single-serve coffee systems are being introduced and have performed well, the analyst states, "In China it's still more about going out someplace and having a coffee versus doing it at home."

"We are pleased with our initial success in the Korean market," stated Shannon Illingworth, Founder and Chairman of AVT. "With a powerful brand name, added convenience, and lower cost, we have the formula for success," he added. "We look forward to selling many more machines to our Korean partners, as well as throughout Asia and Japan."
