He looks like a great pup and is recovering well. Breeders
like that ought to be sent before a judge and banned from
owning any pets larger than a maggot. I am wondering, and
worrying, about shots. I'm assuming in a house like that
he had none, and if he's going to dog parks he needs to
have at least distemper and parvovirus. And most states
require a 1 year rabies at 12 weeks. Be advised many large
breeds, and especially Weimaraners, can have bad reactions
to immunizations. It is called Hypertrophic osteodystrophy,
or HOD for short. I have had to deal with it several times
and it is scary. Please google it and talk to me if Charlie
shows the slightest symptom. Sometimes it won't show up
until the 16th week or so.
