In projected “mid six-figure annual revenue deal,” Adaptive Media will represent 3rd largest Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) vertical to brand advertisers
MISSION VIEJO, Calif., July 8, 2013 -- Adaptive Media, Inc., a subsidiary of Mimvi (MIMV), today announced a partnership with Rebellion Media Sports. Adaptive Media will manage all aspects of advertising inventory for Rebellion’s 14 sports-focused properties across native apps, display, mobile web and video advertising.
“The combination of great content from Rebellion with Adaptive Media’s multi-channel advertising platform and deep knowledge of the brand advertising space will allow for greater revenue opportunities with premium sponsorships and brand takeovers,” said Adaptive Media Founder and Mimvi CEO Qayed Shareef. “We think this is potentially a mid six-figure annual revenue deal for us, and there are numerous other opportunities within Rebellion to expand the relationship.”
Rebellion Media’s growing sports vertical represents millions of monthly users interested in keeping up-to-date on the latest in MMA, boxing and wrestling news, highlights and in-depth analysis of upcoming events. Rebellion has been growing through an aggressive acquisition strategy since launching in 2012.
“We’re excited to be working with Adaptive Media,” said Scott Hastings, President of Rebellion Media’s sports division. “We selected them with confidence that they can maximize ad revenues across all channels -- mobile, video and display -- to our core audience of males aged 18-35.”
“This is the first of many announcements we will be making to the public related to publisher relationships,” Shareef added. “Our business development pipeline is full and the recent acquisition by Mimvi strengthens our position to take advantage of these opportunities.”
