Even if they get funding, there is no money to be made in this space. The cost to remove the trees outweighs any potential profit. It has been tried before and always fails on a large scale.
The use of this robotic arm will not make a significant dent in production costs.
Where is the companies cost analysis or project projections?
If I were the CEO I would be trying to license this so called "Technology' to a Hitachi or John Deer who could make the machine and take on all the risk. If there is more uses for this "arm" then massive multi-nationals can exploit it and would have a market to sell it too.
Just my 2 cents.
