Yeah Shail, Pasta, ALL!
I'm an optimist on the long term prospects, have to be. Prefer to blame the MMs waiting this long to shake us out of the game before the upcoming rounds vs. leveling any blame on my Stony Brook nest egg taking a hell of a long incubation period.
Pasta! I think you were citing this as a typical COME ON IN and we'll shake some money out of you penny stock. It ain't, at least I don't think so. How many penny stocks are an integral part of a public university? Stony Brook is pretty damn heavy in math and sciences. How close are we with their Center of Excellence in wireless communications department.
With the new 35K square foot warehouse, we're ingrained within a state government build-us-an-industry consortium (Long Island High Technology Incubator, Inc.). How many publicly traded company's get that kind of backing? I have faith their books are audited more frequently than private pennys.
We try to prepare for these damn shorting games by the MMs but they're tough to deal with. I do have to acknowledge nothing is a sure thing to maintain any semblance of sanity on these drops, We had a post on here sometime earlier this week on Zack's scaled back earnings projections, but the factor (for established companies) was huge. Been down so deep so long things beginning to look up to me:).
On my own views for us, we do have drawbacks. I think our product's cost is too high for retail sectors. The Defense Logistics Agency mandate too narrow limited to the two classes of Integrated Circuits. Large multinational corporations trying to create side branches within their corporate umbrella to provide similar products and leave us out of the loop.
On the GOD, CAN"T MISS factors, our sector is written into the upcoming, annual Defense Authorization Act for 2014. The DLA's REQUIREMENTS document for Qualified Suppliers has to have a rewrite soon that will force existing holdouts to our product (I feel that's a good bet). The Department of Defense pretty much leads society in technology (aerospace, DARPANET to internet) and socially (racial now sexual civil rights).
Patents. We're loaded with patents.
All betting on the LONG return. Kicking myself all the damn time in short cycles like this. Hard game to play, but right now, we're being GAMED. IMHO
Want a big rise like the rest of you before August 17th so I can remove ~25% as my hedge fund. This strategy isn't working this quarter. Another possible delusion I have is that this is going ahh 10 bagger or more coming soon, so I bought low.
