RE: Post-Hoc Analysis Hype Debunked

I sent the following post to Seeking Alpha in response to the article mentioned in the topic title here. Let's see if SA censors me?

"An arrogant and dismissive tone from the author reveals itself in many of his responses. He is not open to any opposing viewpoints, let alone acknowledge many of the known facts. He doesn't seem to know the difference between subgroups and independent variables, for example (e.g. RF ablation). He has no concept of the scientific method, iterative discovery, or altruism.

But he does use the word "short" quite a bit. At least he is honest about his intentions. It's too bad that he's ashamed to reveal his name; that should be enforceable by writing guideline rules. (Seeking Alpha editors, are you listening?)

A writer like this would be fun to compete against in a judged debate with rules. He wouldn't stand a chance. His "sniping" of quotes on subgroup analysis would quickly be proven irrelevant. If he is a ghost writer for "you know who," I'd suggest that person find a new proxy. This one isn't very compelling."
