I don't get it.

As I understand it, on Monday the conversion can happen and then shares dumped into the market; so now the stock starts rising?!?!?!?!

While I am happy the stock is going up, and I increased my position in the stock while it was down (and started hating myself for having such a large amount in the stock), I just do not understand.
