Yes there is low volume today because no one is selling. In order to have volume you have to have buyers and sellers but if the float is locked up the only sellers are market makers trying to short in order to drop the price and potentially buy back in cheaper. We would have a huge amount of volume if people sold because on Level 2 there are plenty of buyers sitting and waiting to scoop some up for cheap.
