GEESH. Common. It is 14% better than the SOC in two different trials. The reason they are discontinuing is it wasn't significantly different than the control group which was the old SOC before being beaten out by the current SOC.

How many times does it have to be said that it is the comparison in your own trial that counts because that is suppose to be where the comparison is the truest.

On the other hand, that is the up front reason. The real reason is because they have a better way to attack this indication and IMO they do not want to get into explaining (if they know) why the control arm is 10% above the highest former control group (13 months)which was itself approx 30% higher than next highest control group.

I guess an explanation would not make the FDA or PPHM look very good to have two strange trials in a row. Too much splaining to do.
