Nothing you have said refutes my point. It's no wonder AMD cannot emerge from the shadow of Intel. Like I said before, Intel defines the rules of the marketing game. Market segmentation has been defined by Intel for years now, and all AMD can do is follow.

But hey, if the model number scheme is so great, why is it that it still needs to be defined and redefined now? Heck, whatever happened to AMD's True Performance Initiative? What a crock that turned out to be.
