Here's a question for any here who have bought the CanChew gum:
Does the package show a manufacturing date and a "best by" or expiration date, and if so, what are those dates?
I'm asking because while it's a good idea for CanChew to promote the gum via a lower, sale price (I think it would have been better to sell a $15, five-piece "sampler",) one has to wonder about the shelf-life of this product.
When we saw all those boxes on pallets in the photo on Facebook, it looked to me like there could be 12,000 - 15,000 individual boxes of gum contained within.
That's a lot of gum to sell when you haven't had much of a promotional program, and that gum was probably manufactured in late May.
So how long can that gum sit on the shelves before it needs to be tossed out.
If the shelf-life is more than five months, I wouldn't be too concerned, but if it's less than three, maybe the sale is designed to clear the shelves.
