All the law does is make people buy the bags, or use reusable bags (cloth type, or bring your own plastic bags).
It doesn't address using bio bags at all.
Germany and other EU countries have been doing this for years.
Maybe another place to address is over packaged products?
For example: individually wrapped slices of cheese - that's just dumb!
People are lazy - they pay for convenience rather than doing the right thing for the environment.
