Once the feds have a sense of direction and fhfa's leading position is filled...it will be possible at that point for uplisting...feds can't just keep taking 100% profit and not give back... that's Highway robbery and I doubt the feds want to see more lawsuits...until then we just keep raising the bar at every earnings date until the tickers side trend at $5 without falling. As far as merging...not happening...if they were to do that...they might as well wind down both gse's and just use Ginnie Mae in place of both...
