Do you know if the results of the SEC investigation ever gets published?

It depends on what the SEC decides to do going forward. After the suspension ends, there will be no comment from the agency, although the company and the affiliates referenced may be under investigation. In this case, I strongly suspect they will be.

The SEC has no prosecutorial powers, so it can't bring criminal charges, but it can sue civilly and collect penalties and disgorgement from the perpetrators.

If that happens, no one will know for some time to come; they may take up to two years and more to build their case. At that time a lot of information will become available in the court pleadings.

If they believe a criminal prosecution is warranted, they'll ask the DOJ to assist.
