LOL. No not a believer in keeping my shares from being used, maybe if the s/s was so small I could own it myself but yeah not really. I'm talking about shares in cash are subject to different rules right as according to reg t they must be marginable right? But cash accounts are not lead by the same rules as margin accounts, so this is where I question. As think of the MFglobal crash, the only customers who were really affected were the ones on margin as that creates leasing of whatever the asset may be. Like I said I'm not completely sure but I don't think the broker has that flexibility with a purely cash account.
