Some view it as a negative because they make the assumption that the company is doing it for the purpose of diluting as many companies do. I don't believe that is happening here.

Some view it as a positive and as you stated the valuation is the same and often some investors won't buy penny stock's.

We won't know until news is released whether this will be positive or negative.

I have seen situations where this type of move is a condition of an agreement between the companies involved and usually both are required to keep quiet until things are finalized.

In my personal opinion this will turn out to be a positive but we will have to wait and see.

Patience is needed in this type of situation and many do not have it. In the mean time my intention is to buy up the cheap shares as the weak hands let go of them.
