I think a few more law enforcement units have it than just Boston PD. I believe Long Beach PD, Contra Costa County Sheriff and Alameda Sheriff have it. I also heard through my police friends that Jacksonville Sheriff have a system. I think there are a few others police units out there and I know the USCG have a few for port security.According to a police contact someone at the company managed to get the echoscope written into the DHS port security grant program but the trouble is the grant money can take several years from award to trickle down into an order. I am also pretty sure they have done quite a bit of work with the navy and the big contractors so would expect some big orders over the next few years. Not sure what each system costs but have heard a figure of about $500k per UIS which is what the police units have.
