I believe that china has slowly reduced there holdings due to their own monetary constraints. Not a reflection of the confidence in US back securities. I will have to do a little more dd, but i do not believe our other foriegn partners have scaled back their holdings. Another issue with china investment in us securities is the unfavorable press which ultimately causes political pressure, hence all the garbage spewed from our politicians. Like they say, if its said often enough it will be come fact.
