Rob/Rich phone chat details Thursday afternoon Dec 8th 2005

First of all welcome to the first installment of GBRT Update please use this info as you see fit but I must emphasize it is meant to compliment your own DD NOT replace it. I cannot over-stress the importance of independent DD gentlemen. Right I enjoyed the board discussion on a possible buyout but let me put the buyout rumor to bed for now there have been no offers from anyone thus far Rob agreed we need a special kind of niche product that another Telco might want for instance before we become a takeover target. Revenues also would need to be looking very bullish IMHO. That said Rob definitely would entertain a buyout offer should one come along.

As an adjunct to this buyout POSSIBILITY we have all software copyrighted in Canada it is not possible (according to Rob) to patent our software. We are however proprietary he insists it's as good as a patent but I find myself questioning that wisdom. Perhaps it's a dollar and cents dilemma not sure but it doesn't right maybe we just don't have anything worth patenting!!!??? OUCH! frown

Presently focused on two main areas Brazilian products and Enterprise Communications. GBRT is attempting to get Brazilian products to market (PearTree) customized to the customer's own purposes. It's a ground floor opportunity there are many in Brazil wanting new cars the demand for autos per capita is much higher than in the US or Canada this includes all the boys toys dealerships boats jetskis motorcycles RV's (practically unknown in Brazil) etc. Glenbriar is mainly interested in these vertical markets but it takes time and money for market penetration. Something the financing (once acquired) is designed to facilitate.

Currently 45% of revenue comes from Peartree 45% from IT services and 10% from IP Telephony. This last sector is increasing and he is seeing very good signs early this month that the second quarter of 2006 will be unusually strong. He normally sees strength after Christmas but it's already looking bullish. There have been new hirings completed in IP Telephony division already and more expected. REVENUE for 2005 was $4.85 million. An audit is coming end of this month (no surprises expected).

Marketing and sales is going better than anticipated but for 2006 revenue to show any real bullish strength we are (you guessed it) still dependent on financing to come through. Ciris is a considerable expenditure but necessary and a good bridge to meeting financing groups interested in GBRT's books, Ciris is from Toronto. Calgary and Vancouver are to absorbed in Oil and Mining respectively to finance any tech plays right now simply not interested. Tech financing is not a cake walk with so much other stuff going on but Ciris inToronto www.ciris.biz has taken them on for liason purposes to any suitable financing. From the sound of it IMHO the German financing will not be successful frankly it sounded like a bust on the phone the way he was talking, he had just spoken to Germany that morning in fact but of course the door remains open.

For those lamenting about the sale of the oil well property lament no further! There were abandonment fees to pay (land rehabilitation) a steadily declining production since 1987 last count below 180 mcf. GBRT bought the well for $96,000 and sold for $150,000 with MAYBE two years production left. Run the numbers boys I'm not an oil patch investor but it sounds to me we got out when the going was good ...ON TOP!

Ahh right the Class Action Suit oh boy oh boy high drama! Well actually you'd be mistaken apparently. The guy doesn't own any shares anymore (past shareholder) Rob thinks he knows who it is but of course is not at liberty to say who. The case of the disappearing post... That was GBRT asking StockHouse to look at the post. StockHouse in there own judgement called it definitely defammatory and promptly had it removed. GBRT merely was allowed to call StockHouse only they had no say in the outcome. Apparently it came as a surprise to Rob and out of character for this person because he was talking clean through his hat with numerous claims which were fabrications of the truth.

Okay guys there you have it the first installment. I'm sorry it wasn't more encouraging highlights to me were PearTree in Brazil and the new hirings in IT Telephony (VOIP). Ciris could prove the answer IMHO patience boys. If you wish to speak with Rob personally just call the number of the office in Vancouver Calgary or Kitchener and you will automatically get through to Rob's phone in Calgary. I recommend you do I wrote this down in a furious Richie~shorthand session... you don't want to see the draft trust me LOL!

Go GBRT!

ALL you realize intrepid GBRT long? JMVHO Hang in there & GLTYA

Cheers...Rich
