A press release this morning announced the formal commencement of the ZTEM survey as of yesterday, June 17. The company also announced that the survey area is expanded to more than double the area most recently planned. The survey area now encompasses all, or most all of LBSR claims within the Tombstone caldera east of the San Pedro river. [Seasonal monsoon weather conditions may cause interruptions in data collection.]

As an aside, I think Tombstone Exploration, which has at least one adjoining claim, has already flown their claims in this area identifying two targets, one of which very likely adjoins LBSRs at the Tombstone town site. Given earlier geophysics at Tombstone suggesting a "porphyry precious metals" deposit below old workings (i.e., underground mining), this additional information could soon bring an added and unexpected bonus to the opportunities here.
