Know why it takes far longer to be removed from the body than man made drugs? Because we are supposed to have it to function properly.

The reason many, perhaps most, drugs are able to exert their effects is because they have chemical similarities to endogenous compounds, enabling them to interact with the receptors or other molecules that those endogenous compounds normally interact with.
