Curious..our specialist executed a single block trade at 9:35 this am, for 311,200 shares at ask. The single largest block ever traded in GTE on AMEX by a factor of 3. (That's institutional sizeage in spades.)

Oh, BTW, in reviewing the block transactions at 2.65 on those 288 K shares that went off on bottom Wednesday's wild west day, it appears AMEX specialist sold them. In keeping with my hunch Auggie investors dumped long and closed naked, I think this was not a stop loss fill, it was a naked short buy close out.
