Mr. G - If I pay for a premium channel such as HBO, I for sure do not want to see commercials. Same would apply to Q. Yes, they need revenue but most of it, IMO will come from subscriber base, distribution rights, and so on. Just the rebroadcast rights to the olympics should bring in a nice chunk of change.
