My dad was so far into it when we found out, we just kept him home and as comfortable as the painkillers could keep him. As for my best friend, he fought it to the end...going to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Duke Univ. hospital, and M.D. Anderson in Houston, only to come back to Hospice before he died.
