Ok, here's another horror story.

PRRM ran a pr a long time ago that if you were a stockholder of record they would give you a divy by giving you shares in another company. Ok, so they do it and claim that these shares would be restricted for one year. This is my recent letter to the SEC regarding this situation - it explain it:

I received restricted shares of CMSI, now trading under the symbol BPWW on 11/15/2004. I also received and a letter of a press release from the company that these shares "are restricted for 12 months". The 12 months have past and the shares are still restricted. I emailed the contact of this company, Matt Maguire ([e-mail]) and I received a return email that I should call him. I called his office (866 THE APPL(e), 407 884 0444)and spoke with his receptionist - told her my name and why I was calling. She directed me to his voice mail - I left a detailed message and he never returned my call. He is obviously avoiding having to explain himself. Now, from what I have heard through other investors is that because this is a pinksheet company they do not have to file with the SEC and therefore can't file a 144 so they don't have to unrestrict these shares. I first heard that these shares would become "free trading" after two years, but now I am being told that it might not be the case and they just may remain restricted much longer. What is the true rule here? If this is the case and the company gets out of freeing up these shares it is blatent price manipulation and deceit by the company in my opinion. The original company, PRRM, put out a pr saying that shareholders of record would receive this dividend and they would become free trading shares after a year. Many shareholders purchased PRRM to become eligible for this dividend.
