Actually IG I'm correct--a talent manager isnt a talent agent. They're totally separate career paths. Agencies and management companies are totally different beasts--they work together yes--but a manager isn't an agent-and management companies don't need any license whatsoever--unless they want to submit their clients to auditions if agents arent pulling their clients weight--then they need to get three letters of recommendation from certified talent agents(again managers don't require ANY certification)--and pay about $3,000 be an LLC and then they get access to "the breakdown" a list released daily to its members for available roles that are open for auditions-they then can submit their clients to auditions while not being an agent or a certified agent. But not many managers submit their clients for taken work because it isn't in the scope of their other duties-and that's an agents job.

Managers have a much larger scope of duties to their clients-they have less clients and they stick with their clients much longer.

Kevin Allyn has a great skill set-he has lots of experience-and he will take skto to the next level!
