You are correct for the most part except...peer pressure when used with desperation is very often taken advantage of by others that know they can manipulate the situation for their personal greater good. Morally, it is not right.
It is similar to taking advantage of paying employees less money because you know they do not have a lot of options and they will take what they can get because they need it which it what a lot of companies are doing to all of us right now. Business slows. Ceos don't want to reduce their salary so they reduce the salary of worker bees that keep their salaries flowing in the first place. If that situation and feelings haven't come across each of us at some point, then perhaps we lack humanity, empathy and respect for the people around us?
David Saltrelli, Peter Schuster and ALL these other pump and dump ceos and nature disaster con artist taking advantage of catastrophes are what I would consider immoral, predators looking for the misinformed, naive, desperate and weak.
Fear and Greed is correct, it is are choice but they are often chosen from information of others or taken advantage by others in the first place.
