It will be many years until the fate of FNF are determined. There is still no support for their survival from anyone in power. The law suit will take years and years to wind it's way through the system.
As of now there is no way for Fannie to get it debt off the balance sheet.
ALL profits got to the Gov't as a dividend.
The wild swings will continue. If u have a weak stomach, u shouldn't be playing around with this.
If you think this is a long term investment, you're fooling yourself.
